This is a showcase of the Top Ten of my “Most Interesting” images as determined by Flickr. Most of these images have appeared on this blog before but this does put them into context as for their popularity, though many of my favorites don’t always get the view or exposure that I’d like, but that’s the same story for everyone!!!

This image has just been used in a collaboration with Kralin on Flickr.

seven centuries

Today, I’ve decided to showcase a more broader selection of my work, presenting every hundreth shot, starting here, with Number 1, taken back in June 11th 2005 with my IPAQ rx3000, hence the lower quality.

This was simply a shot of the sunlight beaming through my apple tree.
Apple Tree Sunray

#100 - This image of a University Of Manchester walkway was taken with my Vivitar 3765 on cold morning back in February 2006.
Angles

#200 - I actually can’t remember exactly which stretch of motorway we were on at the time that I took this image, but it was clearly sunset on August 5th 2006, and I used my Kodak Z740 at a decidedly fast shutterspeed.
Beams @ Dusk

#300 - This was one my early technical attempts at macros using my Kodak, back on May 26th 2007.
Light Bee

Good old Waterloo Place at Manchester University. This is an old favoirite on this blog, but I couldn’t exclude it as it does happen to be Number 400 in our list!
Waterloo Place

#500 - This is a shot of the road leading to Ambleside in the Lake District. Taken on August 3rd 2006 with my trusty Kodak Z740.
Lone Cloud

#600 - And last but certainly not least, this one of my personal favorites, taken just over a week ago in Llandudno, North Wales. The first of this list to be taken with my Nikon D40 as well.

More Droplets…

More droplets captured. This one is my favorite of the two. It seems to have more strength, a sense of cohesion. “Long Drop”

This one has the look of being held by a claw, hence the name, “Claw Drop”

Flora: From Kodak to Nikon

Well, in fact, it’s going to be from Nikon to Kodak! This first image was taken just a few weeks ago and to honest I’m not sure what they are called.  But a great subject though.

This was taken with my Nikon D40

Rich Balls

This was Mallow, and was primarily one of my first calculated efforts with F Stops back with my Kodak Z740. This was taken a couple of years ago.

Urban Mallow

A rose by any other name, orginal, I know; but this is, sorry, was a nice flower back when I captued it. It really seems to stand out form the background well.

Standout Beauty

This was first really successful attempt at floral photography. Th water has settle well in my opinion to create a well ballanced image.

By any other name...

Bite Me! It’s in my nature

Good old nature photography: Simple, effective and bloody EASY to find the subject matter. This Apple was taken olver 3 years ago. The tree has long since gone.

These were Plums, after just transforming from flower to fruit.

If I remember correctly, this Mushroom ended up as part of my breakfast, but not before being captured.
