I found these two images in my collection and forgot that I had done them. I must have finished these at some point last year and for whatever reasons chosen not to post them; maybe I wasn’t happy with them at the time, but I think that they are good enough and have decided that the first place that I shall show these is my blog, rather than flickr, for a change. “Tai Chi”

Sunday, 29th January 2012 was the celebrations on the Chinese New Year, The Year Of The Dragon. A year considered to be very lucky and favourable in the Chinese calendar.

I was in Manchester that day and captured a few images of the events. There was a Tai Chi demonstration, but by a primarilry white group. In fact, the days celebrations were conducted by a larger contigant of English people than I was expecting.

Later, the Dragon was unleashed on the city…
