It’s been a year today since I posted my first fire image on Flickr. This image, title very imaginetvly as “Flames” was that image. If you look closely you can alsomsee a very distict letter “R” in the midst of the flames, a letter which has appeared several times in my fire pictures.

Today, I’ve decided to showcase a more broader selection of my work, presenting every hundreth shot, starting here, with Number 1, taken back in June 11th 2005 with my IPAQ rx3000, hence the lower quality.
This was simply a shot of the sunlight beaming through my apple tree.
#100 – This image of a University Of Manchester walkway was taken with my Vivitar 3765 on cold morning back in February 2006.
#200 – I actually can’t remember exactly which stretch of motorway we were on at the time that I took this image, but it was clearly sunset on August 5th 2006, and I used my Kodak Z740 at a decidedly fast shutterspeed.
#300 – This was one my early technical attempts at macros using my Kodak, back on May 26th 2007.
Good old Waterloo Place at Manchester University. This is an old favoirite on this blog, but I couldn’t exclude it as it does happen to be Number 400 in our list!
#500 – This is a shot of the road leading to Ambleside in the Lake District. Taken on August 3rd 2006 with my trusty Kodak Z740.
#600 – This one of my personal favorites, takenon 26th July 2008, in Llandudno, North Wales. The first of this list to be taken with my Nikon D40 as well.
#700 – And last but certainly not least, taken 20th August 2008 in my back garden. Nikon D40, 55mm, we thank you!

This image has won SECOND place in the “GR8! Photos Contest #27″, and has also achieved over 5000 6000 7000 8000 9000 hits.
Posted on Flickr back in April, it has since stormed away to become my most successful picture ever. It was taken my Nikon D40, and the efix data is available on photo page @ Flickr. (Click on the image)

This is my second image to make it to 1000 Views on Flickr. And I find it ironic that this is actually the direct predecessor to the “Face In The Flame” as taken on the night. The “FIRE” series has obviouslly been my most popular set with almost all of the 20 images taken to date now having view counts in the hundreds.
With that in mind I would like to thank everyone for their support of my work and for clicking on my site!

This a collection of my latest macros to be posted on Flickr.
This Bee shot, was only taken this afternoon, in my front garden. It seemed quite happy to pose for me for well over a minutes. Thanks mate! “Glass Wing” was taken @ 55mm with my Nikon D40
I’m not sure what the insects were, but I’m told that I caught them in the act as it where… OOPS!

This is from a set which I call “The Elusive Photographer”
Taken in Manchester, near G-Mex.
Sunset on the promanade at Llandudno, North Wales.
This is one of my latest favorites. The fact that the figure is pin sharp and the world he is looking upon is blury yet somewhat recognisable seems to be a great metaphor for life. Or is it just me! LOL!
Again, taken at the Albert Dock in Liverpool, this image demonstrates how Health & Safety has even managed to break it’s way into the seafareing industry! Also, that the fantastic Radio City tower has just crept in, in the background and is slightly out of focus.

This one I will reveal is Llandudno’s promade, in North Wales. I beautiful sight to be sure, especailly as the sun sets over the Great Orme.
