Christmas In Manchester 2005

This is a Set was taken back in 2005 with my Vivitar 3765, hence the poorer quality. I like these images as they show a Manchester of change. The first picture is simple and shows Manchester’s Town Hall. 

The following images are of the first Christmas in the ‘then’ newly refurbished Manchester Arndale Centre. To make the best use of the empty space at the time, they placed this modern display there. Now, four years on, the centre is full of shops and there is little room for such an elaborate display.

Abstracts & Colour

Here are two abstracts, both the same image but photoshoped differently. The first image I feel works really well as an image in its own right, whilst the second would make  a great background, maybe for a wedding invitation or something similar… 

Both of these images were composed with milk & water… Believe it or not!

Who watches the watchers?

I took this set on Saturday morning with a long exposure and no light. The first image is the photo proper. The second is the same image with a zoom blur filter applied, and was a wallpaper I originally created for my desktop. This available to download on Flickr and DeviantART.

The third image is a combination of the wallpaper and an image that CeeQue took of myself at Heysham, last summer. The image of myself was used in my last Flickr Buddy Icon, which was originally combined with my first icon, a negative of my ear…

Fire: A year on…

It’s been a year today since I posted my first fire image on Flickr. This image, title very imaginetvly as “Flames” was that image. If you look closely you can alsomsee a very distict letter “R” in the midst of the flames, a letter which has appeared several times in my fire pictures.
