This is just a few of my latest images, again back to the more artistic…
The first is actually boiling water… Believe it or not…

“FACE IN THE FLAME” continues to build on its view count, now reaching over 40,000 hits and has also featured at Number 3 on Google’s image search for “flame” Again, thanks to everyone who has supported this image and all my work.
Posted on Flickr on the 96th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, (just in case anyone was interested…) back in April 2008, it has since stormed away to become my most successful picture ever. It was taken my Nikon D40, and the efix data is available on photo page @ Flickr. (Click on the image)
This is a natural flame (NO manip)

It’s been a year today since I posted my first fire image on Flickr. This image, title very imaginetvly as “Flames” was that image. If you look closely you can alsomsee a very distict letter “R” in the midst of the flames, a letter which has appeared several times in my fire pictures.

All these images are also on Flickr, with some also now posted on deviantART and JPG Magazine.
Well, this first image if for GreenLepel, who pointed out that one my post DIDN’T have any fire in it, so here you go! LOL!

I have a huge collection of fire pictures taken this year, with only a small selection posted so far. It is my intention to continue both taking a posting them as the year rolls on.
“Kellogg’s 666″ is so named as the overall shape reminded me of the Corn Flakes Cockerel, and the fact that it is my 666th image to be posted to Flickr. Fire was intention, but the bird was just a bonus!

“Recoilling Flame”. The face is clearly visable as it seeming recoills from the camera. Must be shy then!

This is my second image to make it to 1000 Views on Flickr. And I find it ironic that this is actually the direct predecessor to the “Face In The Flame” as taken on the night. The “FIRE” series has obviouslly been my most popular set with almost all of the 20 images taken to date now having view counts in the hundreds.
With that in mind I would like to thank everyone for their support of my work and for clicking on my site!

As I may have already intimated, my most successful images to day have been those of fire. So I’ve decided to showcase a selection of images from the “Flames” set from Flickr.
All these images where taken naturally with no post manipulation.
This image is entitled “Cauldron In The Flame”. This was taken at a high shutter speed but low F stop. This image to me, seems to show a figure holding a cauldron or bowl inside a flame.
This image is entitled “Horror’s End?”. Again, this was taken at a high shutter speed but low F stop. It seems to clearly depict a image of a man or woman for that matter, seemingly suffering in a ring of fire.
This image is entitled “Hell’s Angel” and simply depicts just that in my eyes. Also, it would seem to be a female form, based on the structure and pose. . This was taken at a high shutter speed but low F stop.
This image is entitled “Flaming Duck”. This was taken at a high shutter speed but low F stop. This is one of the clearest images that has come out of this set. It lookd remarkably like a cartoon duck.
This image is simply entitled “Flames”, and you may have guest it from that, that this was the first image to be posted. It is a much simpler composition and is nothing more that a piece of paper burning, again at a low F stop and hight shutter. You may be able to make out the letter R withing the flame. This has happened at least twice during this set.
And finally, this image, entitled “Flaming Macro!”, has often been seen to have certain sexual connotations, but in all honesty, I didn’t see that until it was pointed out! But now, yes, I can see it. I was more taken with fluidity of the flames and the macro of the fir shot. This was taken at a high shutter speed and a higher F stop.
