I would just like to take a moment to showcase a couple of images from my other half, Sparkle978. She has been taking pictures for years but has only just realise that she’s been taking some cracking images. Well, she doesn’t know but the rest of us do!
Here’s to you Sparkle!
This is a standard swan image, but the capture is superb in my opinion.

Both these images were taken with the Kodak Z740, and richness of the images is first rate, but the framing helps too!

This a collection of my latest macros to be posted on Flickr.
This Bee shot, was only taken this afternoon, in my front garden. It seemed quite happy to pose for me for well over a minutes. Thanks mate! “Glass Wing” was taken @ 55mm with my Nikon D40

I’m not sure what the insects were, but I’m told that I caught them in the act as it where… OOPS!
I believe that this was a beetle which wondered int the kitchen last week and became the latest unwitting subject of an impromptu photo session… “Silver Bug”

This is a showcase of the Top Ten of my “Most Interesting” images as determined by Flickr. Most of these images have appeared on this blog before but this does put them into context as for their popularity, though many of my favorites don’t always get the view or exposure that I’d like, but that’s the same story for everyone!!!
1 – Face In The Flame
This image has just been used in a collaboration with Kralin on Flickr.
5 – Ladybird (Yes, I know, not the most original title…)

More droplets captured. This one is my favorite of the two. It seems to have more strength, a sense of cohesion. “Long Drop”
This one has the look of being held by a claw, hence the name, “Claw Drop”

Good old nature photography: Simple, effective and bloody EASY to find the subject matter. This Apple was taken olver 3 years ago. The tree has long since gone.
These were Plums, after just transforming from flower to fruit.
If I remember correctly, this Mushroom ended up as part of my breakfast, but not before being captured.

“Blue Drop” was taken back at the end of April and after a flying start, many comments, 9 favourites and fair few hits has settled down.
This is one of favourites and shows a progression in both my macro and droplet photography.
Taken with my Nikon D40, 55mm, F/5.6
A few weeks later, I followed this up with one of it’s many companion flowers fully opened.
