Firework Parade Part 2
I have created a new page to mark every hundredth image to be posted on Flickr. This was originally a recurring and updated post but it was becoming so large and repetitive, I felt that it was better simply to dedicate a page for the topic instead.

Firework Parade Part 1
“FACE IN THE FLAME” continues to build on its view count, now reaching over 40,000 50,000 hits and has also featured at Number 3 Number 1 on Google’s image search for “flame” Again, thanks to everyone who has supported this image and all my work.
Posted on Flickr on the 96th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, (just in case anyone was interested…) back in April 2008, it has since stormed away to become my most successful picture ever. It was taken my Nikon D40, and the efix data is available on photo page @ Flickr. (Click on the image)
This is a natural flame (NO manip)

Nature at its’ most artistic
Here are a few images from Cumbria’s Lake District and North Wales. All have been photoshoped but only to a degree. I always try to stick to the rule of not altering a photograph as per its’ content, but am happy to effect the colour, contrast etc. and remove blemishes such as dust or scratches.

Windermere Airshow @ Bowness
This photoset covers the Windermere Airshow last weekend, which was held at Bowness, on the shores of Lake Windermere, in the Lake District.
In all fairness it wasn’t the best airshow I had seen but it had a few notable moments and a few are captured here.
The U.S. Mustang was quite a site, and the sound was equally as inpressive.
“Minimulist Mustang”
The crowd seemed to agree, but still the mood was quiet as we had to wait a long time between planes..

The aerobatics where impressive, though simple…

But this had to be the crowning show of the day. The Vulcan Bomber thundered accross the otherwise peaceful Cumbrian sky, roaring with fury. The site was as impressive as the deafoning blasts of sound.
N.B. All (Exlusive to WordPress) images were so at the time of publishing but may well be avialable on Flickr or other sites afterwards.

A random taste of July
This is a bit random but these are the only two images that have ever been posted on the 28th July so I just thought I’d share them with you. These 4 images were all taken with my Kodak Z740 and to this day I still use it along with my Nikon and rate it very highly.
All these were taken in North Wales back in summer of 2007.
